For smallies, you\'ll need a good depth finder. I fished the rocky points and submerged rocky islands with a carolina-rigged zoom lizard. Only caught two smallies the whole trip...guys that were having success where using live crawdads.
Don\'t be afraid to fish where other boats are...there are a lot of fellas that take fishing serious up there so I\'d start where the boats are, figure out the general pattern and then experiment with similar looking spots.
