I went tundra and am not looking back. Maintenance cost is slightly higher, but the product is so much better.

I considered Tundra nice pickups. But the few I see pulling full size trailers seem to struggle here in the mountains. If I didn't still enjoy hunting big game horse back that's what I would have bought. Resale is outstanding and the ones I have driven are typical Toyota quality. I have a Toyota Camry with 160000 miles that still runs like new.

Yea they dont really replace a 3/4 ton. With the towing package they come close but not quite there if that is what you need.

One of my biggest things with mine is how well the fit and finish holds up. Most of my fords and chevys have served well in terms of engine and tranny, one went way earlier than I would have wanted but most were ok. But by 10 years 100k plus miles they looked like an old truck, lots of little things broken and in disrepair.

My Tundra right now is an 08 with 130k on it and it looks darn near brand new. Every little electrical component works, nothing is cracked or loose, if you didnt know model year details you would swear it was a 3-4 year old truck at the most.
