 Lake Macbride biggies

Over the last three weeks I have caught seven walleyes over 22 inches. Two of them have been 26 inches. Have no clue as to what is going on as the past three years just one above 20 inches. All were on north arm, south shore , trolling with crankbaits. Two of those days I caught two the same day.

Congrats on catching some very nice unicorns! Hard to predict what may have contributed to the increase in size that you are observing, but I recall In-Fisherman episodes where they claim that the biggest fish on every body of water are at their most vulnerable a few times every year. There is anecdotal evidence that links a rise in activity to moon phase and weather patterns and forage trends probably impact it too.

Regardless, those are some nice walleyes, and congrats again on the catch! Post some pics if you get a chance.
