I have only hunted archery in the past couple years, but am looking to buy a rifle and strongly considering the Ruger 450 bushmaster. My question is in which season would I be able to use this? Very unfamiliar with rifle seasons/muzzleloading rules. Any info would be great! Thanks

You can use it during the 2 shotgun seasons. Gun season 1 ended today. Gun season 2 starts this Saturday.

Wouldn't it be "one" of the two shotgun seasons?

Everyone is right so far, straightwall rifles can be used for both shotgun seasons. You would only be able to hunt 1st shotgun OR 2nd shotgun.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'
