We're making our yearly trip to West Okoboji this weekend, generally fish Emersons and Millers for gills. Did I read the water is murky again this year? Also is the ice good enough for atv's or trucks? Thank you.

I'll be fishing there Friday-Sunday as well. I've been seeing pictures of a bunch of bluegills being caught

Not sure if the water is murky but they are driving on the lake with trucks. Call Kabele's to get the best info.712 336 1512.

Water is dirty on all of West Okoboji, everywhere I have been and everywhere I have heard of. Bring flashers. 13" ice in most bays, some truck traffic. Stans Bait in Milford across from Perkins has good local info for West Okoboji. Stop in and see their newly remodeled shop, impressive and huge selection!

i know some people are driving out but if you have a wheeler or sled to bring i would just to be on the safe side. West O has been good for gills. water clarity isnt the best but you can site fish in like 9 foot last i fished. Spirit and East O has been pretty good for walleyes. Go into Kabeles and they will help you get in the right direction they have alot of information.

gone fishin/ hunting call back later ;)

Last weekend, the 6-7th, visibility was around 4ft in little emerson bay. Cameras were still working well.
