Heck yeah you'll do fine. They don't know what it is. Hide well and you'll do well. Cannot help ya with the snow cover unless you want to run down to C.R.
I don't know how fast you need it but try Rodgers Sporting goods. I have placed a few orders with them and every time, I have had the package at my door in two days, and that is with the normal shipping rate.

Thanks T... maybe if people wouldn't wait to the last minute they would have one when they need it. Shoot, even guys that work there were in looking for one yesterday.
A BAD day of hunting is still better than a GOOD day at work!
Tyson's Customs is still around, just closed the web site. PM me if you need something.
Whether born on the mountain or raised in the city, enjoyment of the outdoors is independent of age, income, occupation or culture. The outdoors re-energizes, restores, illuminates...and clarifies what is important to us all.

I agree. Once there's enough snow, it's probably hard for the birds to tell what crop each field is. Last year, we shot geese on several occasions out of a small bean field. It was all traffic, but lots of birds in the flight path and some would drop in here and there. We also took a shovel and rolled the snow over some so you could see some dirt......basically we tried to make it look like the birds had been feeding and had cleared out some bare ground. Not sure if that helped or not.
As for the snow cover, good luck finding one locally. Every year, the same thing happens. We get snow and everyone and their dog goes out to get a snow cover....guess what? Stores don't have a ton on hand, because they don't sell too well except for when it snows.....then they sell like hot cakes. I really wish some of my buddies would just bite the bullet and each buy one. Yeah, some years you might not even use it once but like this year and last year you get alot of use out of them. Sure, sheets can work good.....with some clothes pins and such, you can basically make a snow cover. And yeah you can use spray snow and it works okay. A spray bottle with cold water and then throw snow on it and then it freezes to the blind.....works good with powder snow, otherwise it won't work that well. Either way, a snow cover is worth the money IMO. Once the snow gets here and temps stay below freezing, just strap it on over your blind and you're ready to rock. The more snow there is, the less you have to stubble up the blind. I hate, I HATE covering blinds so I love the option of the cover. Sorry for the rant, just my dos pesos.
