It's the IGL's bro........God's country

Hit me up next fall and I could put you on just about anything you'd wanna kill

Where are you from? You related to any Alesch's up here?

I am from Early and don't know of any Alesch's in that area, so they must be real distant if i am related to them

am thinking of hitting up the ice fishing on spirit possibly sunday or next weekend....any tips? Laughing Out Loud

will definently have to meet up sometime when i go to school there

and sorry everyone, but i don't have the pictures yet

Thanks guys, the buck that I killed on Wednesday was getting to be kind of like an old friend. I got lots of pictures of him but I only saw him twice during the day. I got him on what might be my last day to hunt this year. He only had one headlight so i called him Ole One Eye.

Had a great gun season! Got to go see all the good ole boys back home and even fell into a couple deer. Hope these pics load I'll put the stories below. Try to keep the story short.

First two pics are of the deer I shot on Sunday. Got him @ 125 yards w/ the muzzleloader he went 50 yards & went down in a bean field didn't see the broke off side, but didn't care I was happy. Sat from first light saturday til dark then sat from first light sunday til noon when I shot him. Multiple naps were employed in my hunting strategy as well as a warm sleeping bag. I woke up to deer running in to the woods and I boiled up out of my sleeping bag only to scare this buck that was about 20 yards from me. He jumped into the brush so I couldn't really see him then a short tined 10 pt came up and squared off w/ him. I eventually spooked the 10 pt (down wind) and both deer started to run I saw 5 points on one side of his rack decided to shoot, so I used my quick thinking and employed the voice bleat I see on T.V. has to work right? well it worked awesome - deer stopped behind a tree (strike 1) then took off again so I bleated again stopped behind another tree ( strike 2) he took off again, so I gave him a real sexy bleat (wish I knew how to put sound on here it adds to the effect of the story)Oops! he stops and I shoot. success! The second deer was shot @ 3:30 pm on wednesday by my buddy. I had him @ 175 - 200 yards but no way was I going to shoot and mess him up for my buddy (who had drove me around all season) Laughing Out Loud There were two bucks of about equal size so he said he shot the first one that crossed the fence (Sound philosophy). He Hit him with the first shot right in the bread basket and proceeded to kill ozone on the next 4 shots. Buck went 35 - 40 yards and died; we cheered, highed fived, jumped in the air, pulled muscles that you only pull w/ bib overalls on while trying to execute moves like that. You know the type of goofy stuff guys do when a big buck is felled. (wish we had video) Season ended perfect: 5 days of hard hunting w/ two good bucks and 2 does. Only thing was I had to explain to my girlfriend why I didn't come home on sunday. I said it was a whole nother year til next shotgun season and the big buck celebration on wednesday was worth it. She still doesn't get it Rolling Eyes I didn't expect her to!
