 2009 Wolf

My lifelong friend just returned from Canadain deer hunt. Well as you can see that hunt turned in a predator hunt. If anyone sees one of these large animals in Iowa I dont think there would be any doubt its a Wolf and not a Coyote. For reference reagarding the size of this animal, my friend is 6'5 and 250
(BTW: I blocked out his face because I didnt have his absolute permison to post.)

Nice looking pelt. It looks like a young wolf from the picture but its really hard to tell. The Wyoming wolves that I have seen pictures of have an even larger head in the males I have looked at. But what an accomplishment I'm guessing it ran by at the wrong time and your friend had a tag to fill. Neat picture Thanks

Unfortunately any picture of dead wolf will send the wolf wingnuts into fits.

Wow, that would be so exciting! Wolf is in my top 5 hunts that I would love to do!

1. Grizzley
2. Moose
3. Mt. Lion
4. Black Bear
5. Wolf
