This is the boat ramp at Bennington on the DSM river this morning, in case anyone was wondering about it. That big tree has a trunk >4' wide.

Thanks for posting.

Saw some people launch off the road just west of there. The water was over the road.

Don't know when they cleaned it up but it was clean late last fall. I don't think the water got high enough this year to do any damage.

Boat ramp is clean with new gravel down. River is starting to get pretty low.

Lets go fishing!

Thanks guys. Going to give it a try there this week. The last few times I drove all the way over there, it was unusable.

I have not personally been there yet this year, but it should be fine. Lake level is at normal pool.
Only going off past experience, we go up there ALOT throughout the summer. Id say your safe by far. Wink

Thanks bowfisher, I though the river level looked good, but it seems like it takes a long time to get that ramp cleaned up every year. I know I can also put in at Webbs, but I like the area upstream of Bennington better.

Yep, that makes two of us. I like going down into the fingers above the lake. I am actually anxious to get up there soon!
